Description: Nine star shaped flowers on two upright 30.0 cm inflorescences borne on ovoid pseudobulbs with hard, dark green linear, acuminate leaves up to 45.0 cm, tinged purple on extended petiole grown in a 10.0 cm wide by 18.0 cm tall oriental pot; sepals medium green; petals swept forward, medium green, slightly lighter green picotee, basal half of mid-vein oxblood; lip light green proximally, white distally, minimally spotted oxblood, proximal margins overlaid oxblood; column light green, dorsal surface overlaid oxblood; substance firm; texture matte; recognized for its charm as a strongly colored species, erect oxblood spikes and pleasing proportion of inflorescence to plant.
